1. Who we are

GreenFeeTracker (greenfeetracker.com) is a golf green fee comparison directory. We publish verified pricing data for public and semi-private golf courses across the United States. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our site, how we use it, and your choices.

2. Information we collect

GreenFeeTracker does not require account registration. We collect the following categories of information:

Usage data (automatic)

When you visit our site, standard web server logs and analytics tools record your approximate location (country/region), browser type, device type, pages visited, and time spent on each page. This data is aggregated and is not linked to your identity.

Contact form submissions

If you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message. We use this only to respond to your inquiry. We do not add contact form submissions to a marketing list.

Rate corrections and course claims

If you submit a rate correction or claim a course listing, we collect identifying information (name, email, course name) to verify and process the request.

Cookies

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site. GA4 sets cookies that help distinguish unique visitors and track sessions. No personally identifiable information is stored in these cookies. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

3. How we use information

  • To respond to contact form messages and course-related inquiries

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for advertising targeting. We do not share it with third parties except as described in Section 4.
